Community Advocacy

The Economic Council uses the Palm Beach County Six Pillars plan as a guide to organize the many issues affecting our community.  In deciding whether to advocate for a particular local or state issue, the Economic Council must first determine whether the taxpayers of Palm Beach County will receive a direct benefit in the form of increased community economic activity, the production of jobs, or simply a better quality of life.  This is accomplished by asking a basic question, what is the return on investment to the taxpayers of Palm Beach County and the State of Florida?
