A group of 62 Palm Beach County business leaders and elected officials will travel to Nashville, TN on April 6-8, 2022. This is the 4th Leadership Trip that the Economic Council of Palm Beach County has organized. Previous destinations included Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; and the Research Triangle in North Carolina.
The group, comprised of 37 Economic Council of Palm Beach County Board Members, along with 21 outside stakeholders and elected officials will have the chance to explore the strategies that have made Nashville, Tennessee an attractive place to live, work and play. Additionally, they will be exploring how its state and local leaders are balancing explosive growth with quality of life through their Economic Development initiatives while addressing similar issues we face such as Affordable and Workforce Housing, Education (K-12 through Post-Secondary and Career Readiness), Mobility and Transportation, as well as how they are master planning for future infrastructure needs.
The goal of the Leadership Trip is to learn how Nashville is able to enhance their strengths, mitigate their weaknesses, and address issues we are all facing through a lens of equity with the hopee there will be lessons that can be brought back to Palm Beach County.
