History

The Economic Council of Palm Beach County, Inc., is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, non- partisan organization established in 1975.

Membership in the Economic Council is by invitation only and limited to influential community leaders who have achieved a high level of success and public recognition in one or more of the fields of business, industry, commerce, education or the professions.  Emphasis is placed upon selecting members who either own or are at the highest level of management within a business entity.  Its members come from all geographic areas of the county, represent all major business categories and encompass all sizes of businesses.
