| The real Amendment 4 |
| Friday, December 11, 2009 |
| Now that Florida Hometown Democracy organizer Lesley Blackner has gotten her proposed amendment on the 2010 ballot, she has decided to dictate its terms to the public.
"The plain language of Amendment 4," Ms. Blackner said in a letter to The Post, "establishes voter referendum only over comprehensive plan changes that concern 'future land development.' " |

| The town that saved Florida |
| Friday, November 20, 2009 |
| If Floridians approve a constitutional amendment on the November 2010 ballot, local voters would have to vote on every change to a city or county comprehensive plan — the blueprint for development — no matter how innocuous. | Tuesday, October 6, 2009 |

| Amendment 4: Economic growth could be shut down |
| Tuesday, June 30, 2009 |
| State officials reported last week that more than 1 in 10 Florida workers were out of a job in May.
With unemployment rates now topping 10 percent, the question on everyone's mind is: When will things return to normal?
The answer depends on Florida voters.
In 2010, an anti-jobs proposal known as Amendment 4 will appear on the ballot. If |

| Fla. high court: Smarter Growth Amendment can go on ballot |
| Thursday, December 18, 2008 |
| The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that a proposed amendment relating to growth management complies with the requirements needed to get it on the 2010 ballot.
The proposed Smarter Growth Amendment can now compete with another proposal, dubbed the Florida Hometown Democracy initiative, if both camps get enough signatures to put their proposed |

| Maritime industry lauds passage of Amendment 6 |
| Thursday, November 6, 2008 |
| Marine industry leaders are cheering the passage of Amendment 6, a state measure that stipulates working waterfront property be taxed at its actual usage - not its "highest and best" potential.
Amendment 6, which received an overwhelming 70.5 percent voter approval, will protect the state's considerable maritime sector against property |
